Retro International is a modern take on iconic 60s –80s global style, bringing together classic silhouettes, confident tailoring, and subtle statement accents. From gala formal to neat casual, guests are encouraged to stay polished while adding one retro-inspired touch through fabric, cut, or accessories for a timeless, photo-friendly look.
Dress Code Guidelines
· Retro element is required: include at least one 60s–80s inspired touch through silhouette, fabric, or accessories (e.g., wide lapels, turtleneck, patterned shirt, subtle satin/shimmer, structured “power” blazer, statement earrings, scarf, belt, loafers/heels).
· Keep it clean and polished: even for casual looks, ensure it is well-fitted, well-pressed, and coordinated (no wrinkled or overly sloppy styling).
· Limit statement pieces: use a maximum of 1–2 statement items to keep the look classy and photo-friendly.
· Footwear is flexible: dress shoes/heels/loafers/boots are welcome; sneakers are allowed if clean and minimal (neutral tone, not sporty).
· Still avoid extremes: no overly sporty or “at-home” outfits (slides, tracksuits, jerseys), and no excessive costumes/props.
· Outfit range is flexible: you may choose Gala Formal, Smart Casual, or Casual (neat).
· Men: tuxedo/suit, blazer set, dress shirt, knit polo, or turtleneck.
· Women: gown/cocktail dress, midi dress, blouse–skirt set, jumpsuit, or knit set.
